Angelina, Paris


January in Paris is cold. Really cold. We did have beautiful, bright blue skies but we also had numb fingers and toes. It's a well known fact that the only way to save oneself from the Paris chill is with hot chocolate. 

Staying in our favourite little spot in the 6ème, Angelina helped us out with our urgent hot chocolate requirements. This amazing location in the Jardin du Luxembourg has been open for a couple of years now, and sneaking in the door straight to the counter for a chocolat chaud à emporter warms my heart. The most wonderfully rich, smooth and sweet chocolate served in a paper cup with a little straw for easy drinking makes me all the more certain that my body and soul really belongs in this city of lights.
